Gretna School District residents will be asked to vote in the upcoming school bond election by
mail-in ballot. No polling places will be open for voting. All registered voters residing within the
district will receive their ballot by mail no earlier than 20 days before the election (April 22), and
no later than 10 days before the election (May 1). The ballots must be mailed back in time to
reach the Sarpy County Election Office (for those living in Sarpy County) or the Douglas County
Election Office (for those living in Douglas County) by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12. They can
also be hand-delivered to the Sarpy County Election Office (for those living in Sarpy County) at
501 Olson Drive, Suite 4, Papillion, NE. 68046, or the Douglas County Election office (for those
living in Douglas County) at 225 N. 115th Street, Omaha, Ne. 68154.
Those who need to register to vote may do so by downloading forms from the Sarpy County
website at www.sarpy.com/election (for those living in Sarpy County) or from the Douglas
County website at www.votedouglascounty.com (for those living in Douglas County).
Registrations must be mailed in and postmarked by Friday, April 24. The deadline for
registering, in-person, at the election office is Friday, May 1, 2015 at 6:00 PM.
