School Messenger Announcement
Gretna Schools is implementing a new messaging system to provide school closing and emergency information to parents. If you received a text from Gretna Public Schools requesting that you reply with the letter "Y", your response will add your number to the parent contact database and doing so will allow you to receive notices to your cell phone. Further details will follow.

The State of Nebraska is requiring all students to have two varicella (chickenpox) vaccinations or parent report of having the disease. The new law will be required for the 2011-2012 school year. Please contact your child’s health care provider to find out how to meet this new requirement.

The final day of classes is Wednesday, May 23. The dismissal times will be as follows:
Gretna Elementary School: 1:00 p.m.
Palisades Elementary School: 1:00 p.m.
Gretna Middle School: 1:05 p.m.
Gretna High School: 1:15 p.m.
Thomas Elementary School: 1:20 p.m.
If you have any questions regarding these dismissal times, please contact your child’s building.
